Hi everyone! Apologies for this voting thread being super late. I was out of the country, and assuming the role of toddler manager took over my mind. Hopefully, the delay made you think deeply about your voting choices ;).

This month's turning challenge was to turn a cookie jar. The only real rule was that the jar had to be big enough to hold at least one cookie. That's to say the challenge was open to the imagination--and, folks delivered! We had submissions that ranged from a mystery lock box, to a painted celebrity muppet and cookies, a turned mouse, fine-detailed segmented jars, and many more. Many thanks to all who participated ion the challenge!

Now, the challenge for all forum members (this means you and me) is to choose a favorite. Voting begins now and concludes ~11:59p UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) Tuesday, 10 March, 2026. You are allowed two votes; once you have voted, you won't be able to go back and change your votes. After you have voted, you can track the vote totals. The voting is secret (just like an actual election), so nobody else can see who you voted for (not even the moderators/administrators). In case of a tie vote, the forum moderators will gather in a virtual waist-deep green shavings-filled shop to determine the winner.

As in all previous challenges, the winner might have to pass a lie detector test before being awarded the Grand Prize (rumored to be a giant, cracked, Pine cookie!).

The following are this month's entries. FYI, you can click on each image for a larger view:

Close race with only ~11 hours left. Get your votes in if you've not voted yet (or if you only voted once--remember, you have two votes this go-around).

This was a close race down to the wire. We had a large number of voters, and the top 3 pieces were only 3 votes apart. Big congratulations to @David Wyke for his cookie jar being chosen as this month's favorite piece! Not only is Cookie Monster well drawn/painted, his lidded bowl form is gorgeous. The additional turned elements (cookies, and Mr. Monster's eyes) are nice cherries on top. Wonderful composition! Thanks for playing everyone. Stay tuned for March's challenge, coming up soon!
