This was some material I had put together when making the vase I posted a few days ago; This one is 10" d x 6 1/2" tall Pompele Sapele & Tiger Maple, It's hard to see but it's under cut and it's about 1/4" Thick except the base.

I like it. Way more fun looking than my last two pieces of the year: A napkin rack and a toilet paper holder both for impossible locations where no commercial products were available to serve
But hey: When ya gotta go, ya gotta wash, and ya gotta dry.

Thank you guys I was thinking Fruit or just show. Bruce

Bruce,
This is a challenging design with so many elements to line up.
I don't glue up pieces to turn but am always in awe of those who do it well.

You have done a good job.
I hope you continue to refine the design and execution.

Happy new year,
Al
