Was wondering about David Ellsworth. His home and studio is down near Ashville.Well I was worried about Florida but people anywhere near Ashville are going through an unbelievable disaster. Entire towns washed away.

I talked to David and Wendy at the Rocky Mountain symposium - they did find out their house was ok, the drive up to the house was covered in downed trees. They were concerned about if they could get home or not....Was wondering about David Ellsworth. His home and studio is down near Ashville.

We know a guy and his family who lives near one of the hardest hit Asheville areas - all is well at his house.

Our house is high and dry with its full compliment of shingles.
All the rain that fell on 7 miles of cattle pastures has to drain past us to get to the Withlacoochee 8 miles to out north
A lot of turners on the coast or other low lying areas will likely have significant damage.
The devastation and loss of life from both hurricanes is catastrophic.
