Does anyone know the weight and footprint dimensions (length and width) for the old Rockwell/Delta 46-111 wood lathe, the one with the cast iron stand?
What’s the best way to change the position of the belt in order to change the speed of the 46-111 lathe, do you have to remove the spindle pulley or do you have to unscrew the motor in order to lift it up? Which method is easiest to disassemble and reassemble?I had an older Rockwell Delta Homecraft that had the same stand. Gave the lathe to a fellow I was mentoring during Covid in 2020 but still have the stand. I saw a photo at Old Woodworking Machines for the 46-111 and it looks the same as far as the cast iron legs. The pine planks could be a different length. The footprint for the one I have is 43” x 19”.
