FOR SALE: Omega Stubby S750 Wood Lathe (Short Bed)

Asking Price: $4,400 Location: Thousand Oaks, CA Local pickup only

Overview

Offered for sale is a premium Omega Stubby S750 wood lathe, short-bed configuration, made in Australia and sold in the U.S. through Stubby Lathe USA.

This lathe belonged to my father, who was an avid woodturner and occasional instructor. He used this machine to create many of his finest pieces. He passed away unexpectedly, and I am now helping rehome his carefully maintained equipment.

The lathe runs smoothly and quietly (video linked below) and has been well cared for. Stubby lathes are known for their exceptional rigidity, precision, and compact footprint, especially valued by bowl and hollow-form turners.

Machine Details: Omega Stubby S750, short bed, heavy cast iron construction, smooth powerful operation, mounted on original heavy duty steel stand.

Condition: Fully functional, runs smoothly with no abnormal vibration, normal cosmetic wear consistent with careful shop use.

(The above pieces were created by my father on this lathe and reflect the capability of the machine in skilled hands.)
