Chuck and jaw sets for sale. I have a Nova Supernova Protek 2, Nova's nicest chuck, nickel plated and "righty tighty" locking unlike their old ones. Listing includes 6 sets of jaws. I'm consolidating so I don't have mismatched jaw brands. All are in very good condition, hardly used. The stock jaw set has a nick where I was learning to use a skew early days LOL. Neither the chuck or jsaws have any finish overspray or corrosion of any kind. I have all the original boxes and accessories, woodworm screw, tools, cleaning cloth, screws and a set of unused extra screws. The screws show the low usage theses have. The 6 jaws cover the range of just about anything you can make from pins to large bowls. See the photos for condition.

Includes (see comments for individual jaw photos and jaw spec diagrams):
  • Supernova Protek 2 chuck, chuck wrench, jaw screw wrench, cleaning cloth.
  • 6026 Mini Spigot jaws
  • JS-SP35N Spigot jaws
  • 6017 Long Nose jaws
  • JS50 50mm jaws with magnetic softjaws
  • PJSN Powergrip jaws
  • JS130 130mm jaws
  • Woodworm Screw
  • 1-1/4x8 Thread insert. If you have a 1" spindle or other, I'll buy and swap the insert for what you need for $15 extra (they cost about $30), OR discount price by $15 without the threaded insert (you get what you need in that case).
  • Somewhere I have some soft tipped set screws (won't mar spindle) for reverse locking that I got for this chuck, I'm pretty sure I can find them. I don't use them I've never had it come loose in reverse but I'll include as well.

Total original cost was well over $500. Sell for $360, no sales tax, plus discounted shipping. This is a very nice set for anyone especially a beginner who could use the variety of jaws.

Would consider trade-ins on quality tooling. (Sinner (Advancedlathetools), Ashley Harwood, D-way, Thompson, C&S, etc).

PM me your shipping address for a quote, OR, go to pirateship.com, use my zip of 37072, box size of 15x12x8 and 16 pounds. Choose the preferred ship method and speed and that will be the shipping cost. If you dont' want all the original boxes, I could fit all of the kit in a smaller box pretty easily for cheaper shipping.

Let me know if you have any questions.

What insert is included?

That seems like a nice set of jaws. All compatible with the other Teknatool chucks?

What are the main differences between the Supernova2 and Supernova2 Pro-Tek chucks?

Hi John. The main differences, from memory are the Protek is a "righty-tighty" for the chuck drive, and it is nickel plated. The back innards cover is red vs original black. And the stock jaws that come with the chuck are a new design, they are laser marked and a different profile vs original.
