Free lathe

I posted the details for a free Delta X5 lathe on the homepage. Membership has its privileges. Bet this gets your attention!

Hi Jeff,

You got my attention!

I need another lathe like a hole in the head, but I have a question

I am an individual member. There is no local AAW chapter near me. (Closest is 90 miles and has not impressed me with wanting new members.) I have even inquired about starting a chapter here but it hasn't worked out.

When my name is drawn and I get the call asking for my local chapter to get the other lathe, what do I say? Or, do I get both of them as a seed to help start a local chapter? :)

Clem - we had the same question last year. If a non-club member gets selected, then they get to choose which club will get the lathe. The lathe will go to a club independent of membership.
