I found this piece of deformed China Berry branch out at the Dulzura Vineyard and Winery about a year ago and finally got around to turning it into a vase. Lined the interior with epoxy to water proof it.
That's a gnarly piece - good job. It was you against the log and you whipped it into submission.
Gnarly can mean very bad, nasty, gross, cool, rugged or all of the above - working with gnarly woods is a special talent.

I pour it in then roll the piece manually until the epoxy is beginning to harden. In this case I dribbled in another color while I was turning the piece then 48 hours later I followed the same process with a layer of clear epoxy.
