I am retired in Western Kentucky, a place that has a lot of availability of good woods to turn. I started turning about four years ago on a Nova midi and quickly moved to a Powermatic 3520C. Turning bowls was my first interest but I am now becoming more interested in hollow forms. I learn primarily from YouTube videos and the on line offerings like Cindy Drozda’s. Turning for me is that nexus where tools and materials and technique come together to satisfy some curiosity about that small part of the world.
