Since I tried to golfing last year, and subsequently quit in short order, I now know what to do with all the balls I have left over. Thanks for the inspiration.
I made a few golf ball ornaments for some golf buddies. These solid core ones worked out better than the rubber-band wound one I tried to disassemble in my parents basement in the 60s. When I got to the center it blew up getting white powder all over.
You can also make little ring boxes out of them. They're great for golfers who don't want to play with their rings on and want to put them in something instead of losing them. I saw these turned in a demo a few years ago.
