Heads-up that Johannes Michelsen is selling a bunch of his (great) tools at a significant discount.
The sale items keep changing as he sorts through what he has too much of :)

I really like his floppy sanding accessories and the extension rods that he has fabricated to accept them.
He also has tool rests and handles on sale.

I just bought on of his 3/4" handle as I have tried other quick-release collet type mechanisms and other manufacturers' mechanisms slip

FYI and hope it helps

I suspect that's the case Brent. I did a class with him last year; a wonderful experience and remarkable to see him at work. I nearly coughed up a lung/laughed when I was completing the very top of the crown of the hat. Johannes pushed it, said "it should give a little, a bit like a coke can" and then followed that with "I think you can take off another 1/64th" - Yea right! ;-*

At the time he mentioned he might scale back on the tooling; he's getting on in age and less stress is always good.

I really like his vector grind fixture and if he does discontinue it, I do hope someone picks it up. I've had a wolverine for years but I have lost count of the number of times the base of the fixture was not firmly seated in the arm/pocket. Hannes's fixture eliminates that risk.
