If you've seen the ad for the 1" bottoming tap on sale
at Harbor Freght you may be wondering what the TPI is.
Their ad doesn't include that information.
"Ellen Marie" from Harbor Freight informs me that
their 30965-2VGA (bottoming tap for wood) is 6 TPI

If you are looking for a 1 X 8 for a spindle tap, Woodcraft just added Beale taps to their inventory. About $20.
