On Friday, June 23rd at 7:30 pm, the AAW's Educational Opportunity Grant live auction will be held at the AAW Symposium in Kansas City. This is a fun event, and is very well attended. I am the AAW Auctioneer, and while we have a group of spotters already on the auction crew, we are in need of additional volunteers to help with spotting for bids in what is a very large room. If you are planning on attending the EOG Auction at the AAW Symposium next week, and would like to help by taking a more active role in the auction, we could use a few more enthusiastic spotters on our crew! If you can see people bidding, yell reasonably loud, and can do this quickly, you are qualified! You would be helping the AAW and having fun at the same time! If you think you would be able to help by being a spotter, or need more information, please contact me ASAP at robturns4u@gmail.com . To see the live auction items being sold at the AAW Symposium, have a look at the AAW on-line auction web site at: http://www.auction2017.woodturner.org/auctionlist.aspx
