I do not have broadband available in my area and am stuck with dial up.

so if I want to see something it is a slow search. the galleries that are avaiable on the aaw main site give me my main contact with what is happening and in some case by looking at the various years it is possible to see the progress that an individual has made. it is a wonderful resource don't let it become stagnant please
 
Does your area have BPL? I don't think the service really gained the sort of traction that the proponents thought that it would, but it is faster than dial-up (supposedly). I know nothing about the cost.
 
lewis, I know your pain. Living with dial-up is a nightmare in a high speed world. Hope satellite makes it to you soon...
