Hi All,
Could anybody please tell me what HF stands for? I just am drawing a huge blank on this one. This is in regards to an earlier responce to another thread.

In the chemistry world, HF is hydrofluoric acid - the inorganic acid used to dissolve (and etch) silicates/glass.

Hf is the symbol for the metallic chemical element (#72) Hafnium....

Probably more trivia than you need today.....never know when it may come in handy!
