I joined AAW yesterday.

So now you guys and gals can just sit back and wait for them to send me and my turning club(Bayou Wood Turners) our new lathes. :D

I'm not sure those new lathes are on the way to your club just yet :-) But happy to hear you have joined up. I always enjoy getting the newest AW Journal and the winter issue is just about to come out. A great benefit of membership.

Craneman: I'm glad that you joined the AAW but I was under the impression that those lathes were coming here to Ohio for me and my club! ;-)

Seriously, though, Congratulations. Membership has a lot of plusses, the most important of which is the interaction with other club members. Be sure to take advantage of the knowledge available.

Joe
