I received my Powermatic 3520C

Is the banjo tool rest lock reversible on the 3520c?
It looks like the same lock as the New jets.
Also the same lock used on the first 3520s
With the tool removed the lock mechanism slides out and can be slid in from the either side. This is a really quick change unless the bolt closes as you remove then you have to fiddle with getting the clamping nuts open and centered to accept the post.

This is a very positive locking mechanism but it can slide anytime there is no tool post in place.
Just don’t trailer the lathe without. tool rest in place or bump the banjo when changing the tool rests or let the handle close when changing the tool rest.

I just got an email from Woodcraft, they have 10% off on Jet and Powermatic this weekend.

The mail also said that there is a 10% price increase by Jet/Powermatic this coming July.
