Well, the only thing to do is be a good neighbor and help clean up by taking all that trunk back to the shop and then turn them a little fruit bowl in thanks.
 
It sure could be pear. Wonderful wood to turn, a smooth even grain. I believe the Bradford pear is considered an invasive species.
