It's been 5 weeks since the successful back surgery. Thanks for all the well wishes, back is doing good. The first two week I was limited to lifting a glass of water, no driving, bending sweeping. I call this surgery jail. Then I was allowed to lift 8lbs. Still no bending, sweeping, etc., but allowed to drive, surgery probation. John Lucas posted his small goblets and since I haden't done any turning I felt this was within my range. I couldn't get smaller then his third smallest and it had two rings. The one on the left was my final one that had a decent size ring.

Moving on I turned some other miniatures.

This piece is a little larger, but still within what I can do. It was my first attempt at off center turning, need to practice on that. Still can't sweep or vacuum, but chips are a minimum and catches are very mild.
