Hi, I'm brand new to the forums, and turning. I've been turning for around 4 months, on the weekends. I'm reading a lot and watching a ton of YouTube videos. I'm here to learn, and maybe bounce some crazy ideas around.

There is a club in Athens: Classic City Woodturners, although meetings aren’t being held currently due to Covid concerns.
There is also a club in Canton: Etowah River Woodturners and meetings are via zoom.

Welcome to the forum. Several good clubs in your area. We have members that hold memberships in 2-3 clubs. Virtual meetings are good for now. Georgia has had good symposiums in the past. Hopefully, by 2022, it will be back in business.
