I've been under a rock for a few months and just saw this. Is this a reeves drive machine with a knob for the rpm adjustment?

The 1221 though, is a true variable speed machine, right?

The Jet 1221 VS is a true variable speed.
Most variable speed lathes use step pulleys to give more speed range. My ONEWAY has 3 pulleys, the jet VS has 3 pulleys.

One thing that bother me slightly is that the lowest speed is 60 RPM, 110 RPM, 220 rpm

A great little machine.

I'd love to have one as my 2nd lathe. I have a Reeves drive Jet 1442. I'm thinking I'd like to sell that one and purchase the 1221. I'd have a smaller footprint, some portability and a true VS 2nd machine. That would be awesome.
