Does anyone know if the head stock of the Jet 1642EVS 1.5 is interchangeable with the 2hp 240v model?

For future reference, Gary at WMH tech services says that they are interchangeable.
 
Seems logical considering that the bed and the legset are the same for the 1442 and the 1642. Plus the manual for the 1642 has pretty much everything the same till you get to the wiring and motor.
