Greetings All & Happy New Year!

Thanks for allowing me to join!
Bought my first late about 17-18 years ago and got hooked immediately! Turned pens, bottle stoppers, and other small items on my Jet mini. Then life and work got in the way and i didn't turn or do any woodworking for several years. Fast forward to 2021 I retired, moved closer to the kids and built a dedicated workshop instead of having to share the space with a car or two.
Prior to retirement I had dabbled a little in segmented turning and that was it! Total addiction! Now that I have the time and the space I am filling every vertical shelf and cabinet in the house with turnings!

Looking forward to learning and sharing.

Nice! I have to admit I was a little startled with the post title at first. We had a great club and AAW member by the name of Jim Swift that passed away a few years ago.

Welcome and enjoy retirement.

Howdy and Welcome from Texas!
