Just wanted to say "Hi" and thank you all for the wealth of information in the Association and this forum. I've learned so much by reading your thoughts and recommendations to others. I've been turning on a Jet Mini for a while, but I'm awaiting delivery of a OneWay 1224 in a couple of weeks. (per your recommendations to others on the forum - a big thank you).

I've settled on a Tormek sharpening system and have found it to be a great system of sharpening tools (again, per your recommendations to others on the forum - many thanks)

I've found that turners are a really nice group of folks. A friend of mine into turning has lent me chucks, tools, a small bandsaw, etc. to help me start out. I don't know too many hobbies that have that kind of comradeship.

My interest is small sculpture, and I look forward to growing and learning.

Welcome

Welcome aboard, and feel free to ask questions. Some of the best help you can get is from your local woodturning club. If we can help, we will!:)
