While agreeing with the spirit of your message, I'm not sure that wishing the rebels well isn't a treasonable offense . Surely what you should be saying is something like 'OK fellas, a joke's a joke but now its time to stop messing about and give us back our colonies.'

You never know, it might work .

From what I read about Britain things are pretty ripe over there. You need your own tea party. But thanks for the good wishes.

Instead, you Limeys (said with a smile ) and us Yanks ought to remain on good terms. We needed each other a couple or three times last century......and who knows?......we just might need each other again!
