Good Morning, I wanted to introduce my self. My name is Kip and I live in Henderson Nevada that is about 10 miles South of Las Vegas.
I have just started wood turning, I am actually on project # 7. The current project I am doing is a vase for my mom, I had goblet on the brain so that is how the shape turned into what it is. The wood is Chechen maple and spalted maple. I left the top thick and wide with a round grove so my mom can put a row of green around the hole for the stems. I am thinking some flowers with light blue. I will finish this piece with high build friction polish.
