The Laguna Revo 18-36 requires that the lock button must be held in allowing only one hand to work with making some tasks difficult. I use rare earth magnets to provide a means to keep the lock engaged and free up both hands. I glued the magnets to a small metal strip, used a screw to set the depth, added a tip protector to the screw head and knob to the other side. The magnets are from Rockler I bought years ago. I used a total of 4 magnets.
Note: John Keeton post on SMC another way to accomplish keeping the button engaged by drilling a small hole in the headstock and using a finish nail.
