Anyone have a direct contact for someone at Laguna Tools? I have been trying off and on to get price and availability on a couple parts for my older Laguna bandsaw (european model from 2006 before they moved mfg to China). I have used the contact us/submit a ticket link on their website a few times and have not gotten a response. Well, actually once a while back I did get a response from a lady and sent photos of the saw's I.D. plate with model and Ser# and a couple of the saw itself since it was an older model. but never heard back. No response to subseqhent inquiries and now that email address is invalid so I assume she is no longer there. I have called the 800# numerous times. When I select the option for custoemr service/parts I just get hold music. Then after about 5min of waiting I get a recording that says I have been switched to the general mail box and to leave a message. I have done that many times. No one calls back.

I tried the phone number again monday afternoon. Got transferred to the general mailbox again. Left another message. Jusy got a call from a non-800# that said potential spam. I didn't answer as I and probably most people usually do and let it go to voicemail. The caller only let it ring twice before they hung up. The caller did not bother to leave a voicemail left. I googled the phone number to see if it was really spam or a legit number. It came us on google as Laguna Tools. So they tried to call me back, yet they didn't bother to leave a voicemail with a name or direct line or phone extension.

That's some pretty crappy customer service Or as some may call "customer no-service"!!

Their CS has been intermittently infamous for decades. Some people report excellent service. I have a couple of friends who are happy, and they have some good products. Maybe it goes in cycles, but I have seen a lot of complaints like yours on different forums.

I know practically nothing about Laguna tools.

Recently Equipment Sales, the scratch and dent outfit for JPW 20 miles south of Seattle, had a number of Laguna CNC wood routers at quite a discount off list price. They weren't damaged at all. It was more like dumping slow moving inventory to raise cash. If so, not a good thing for Laguna.

I have heared several people complain about their customer service. They have always treated me well.
