Jet 1642 no longer in production and the part I need to replace likewise is no longer being made. It's the spindle coming out of the power head. I either have to buy a new power head, smaller motor, because this one isn't made anymore. Maybe I can do that and exchange the motor? Or buy a new lathe. Or finally use this one as a boat anchor and stop turning; worst option!!!

Any ideas?
