Hi, I'm Lawrence but go by Rip. How you get Rip from Lawrence is a great question but basically my parents started calling me that very early on. I'm a 50 year old guy in CT who got into turning during the pandemic while working from home. A decent size black walnut leader fell on my property, one thing led to another and here I am. I'm turning on a Nova Comet 14DR midi while anxiously awaiting shipment (July estimate now) of a Rikon 70-3040. You're all very knowlegeable and I appreciate you sharing your years of experience. I'll try to be helpful where I can.
