That "turning" the turkey is done in the roasting pan with a couple of forks, NOT on the lathe with a couple of bowl gouges. :D

Aw shoot! I just finished custom fabricating a pan to fit on the bed, and a special chuck too. Didn't need a "dead" center because I have an old one around here somplace. :D

My turkey will not be turned but it will be "carved" into some nice size peices for my enjoyment.

Eight people, four dogs and one bird. Going to be devil take the hindmost at our house. Grateful for the company, though. I'm doing flat work, not round today. Crib and the new addition are neck and neck, but I'm pulling ahead.

Think I can con anyone else into sanding crib slats?
