My PM live center bearings are shot- - -screaming like a banshee. Anyone ever re-built one of these beauties. Looks like a knockoff of a Oneway but is not. I will be taking it to the local (65mi) authorized repair center next week unless someone has a better idea. Opinions welcomed. Philip
 
Take that old part out and put it out of its misery :D

I ended up putting about 300-600 hours on my original PM live center. It never got totally fried, but there is a lot of play in it. I now only use it for extreme roughouts.

Your live center may have suffered the same life as mine. At some point an upgrade to a new center is probably justified.
