In the summer/2008 issue of American Woodturner, Ray Hughes had a photo of a set of bagpipes he made. I ammaking a set as well and had soem tech questions for him but i am unable to locate him. Does anyone have any idea how I can get a hold of him?

Yes, and so do you (I think). See your AAW Resource Directory, p. 213, then p. 164. ("Ray" is his middle name, BTW - maybe that was the problem).
