Hello everybody ,

I am happy to join you ,I will give you my presentation here .

My name is Lorin Brückin. I am a French woodturner living near Carcassonne.

Working with wood since 2018, it was immediately obvious for me to include different materials into the wood in order to study the narrative potential that could arise from such combinations.

Materials, such as copper, zinc or stone, are already part of my daily life as a plumber and have gradually found their way into my work.

I began in the field of everyday objects through boxes creations, trays or candlesticks, then the pieces turned into sculptures like spherical shapes with natural or Nordic influences.(vikings Runes )

The addition of hammer shaped metal increasingly became the guideline of my explorations, always with the aim of giving the illusion that the metal was hidden under the wood.

The pleasure is to share with everyone ans discuss ,
See you soon

Lorin
