Lynne Yamaguchi Accident

I don't know this lady, but my best wishes for a speedy recovery are given to her......

(This post is the final straw, and has made me finally decide to purchase a sporting helmet with face protection cage.)

I met Lynne several years ago at a woodworking show where she was doing demos...what a nice lady.
Interesting this is that she stressed that she did not turn fast, yet this accident happened while turning at high speed.

I am turning faster than several years ago too!!!!!! Some turners say turn as fast as you're comfortable with ( whatever that is!!) and just less than the vibration point. Gretch
