Surprised to see over on the WOW Forum that there is a thread re the state of the AAW Magazine arriving damaged because it is posted un-wrapped, with a reply from the Editor, but nothing here? or have I missed something.

Richard in the UK with slightly tatty copy of Mag.

Richard, I assume by now you know that one pallet of the overseas journals was not processed correctly: individual journals were not enclosed in plastic and many of them arrived badly torn. The vendor will be re-shipping those journals first-class mail.

Thanks, John for your reply on my behalf. I have been out of town, I was not logged on to the AAW Forum, and my password was written down at home.

I was in Saint Paul with the search committee interviewing the four final candidates for my successor (more than 100 people applied). There will be an official announcement by the end of April, maybe sooner!

Betty Scarpino, Editor, American Woodturner
