Hello - I have been turning off and on for quite a few years now. Like a lot of turners, I'm mainly into bowls, but I like to think of mine as 'one off' pieces. I live in Central Victoria in Australia where I have access to a lot of the hard dry native timbers that come from this part of the world. Mostly eucalypts, but some she oak (casuarina), banksia and other stuff. These days I try and video my projects in some form and post these to my YouTube channel. One of my challenges is to keep developing my sense of form and trying to be as creative in my design as possible.

Welcome to the forum Mark. I like the form and texturing on the bowls you have posted, and, that's some gorgeous wood!
