Hello everybody, my name is Matt, I'm 43 and I am in central NC. I'm on disability from a motorcycle accident back in '05. Brand new turner, just picked up a used HF10x33. Practicing between centers on a wet maple limb and learning to use the tools. Now just starting the long journey of accumulating the other stuff I need (chucks, face plates, drill chucks etc.) I absolutely love this, seeing your creation evolve from a rough chunk of wood into a smooth round form.

Welcome. Lots of fun and can be relaxing. Used to live in Kannapolis and Salisbury. Miss the fresh seafood.

Welcome aboard, Matt. When the turning bug bites the only known treatment is to buy more turning stuff. We have a great support group here to help you along the path of learning to love making round wooden things. :D
