I have been an AAW member for a couple years, but never got to doing an introduction. My name is Michael Grobschmidt and while I have been doing woodworking for many years, it was about 3 years ago I bought my first lathe and I was hooked. I took a couple intro courses through my local Woodcraft store which were very valuable to me getting started with good habits. I have gravitated to making pieces (bowls, vases, hollow forms) with wood, epoxy and various inlay materials. Attached are a few of my latest pieces.
