Hello. I am an "intermediate" turner, I guess. I got started with a weekend course at John C. Campbell Folk School in NC. I loved it, and bought a Jet 1221 and began turning small spindles and bowls. Now my wife enjoys making pens on the 1221 and I had an excuse to add a Laguna 1836. I belong to Atlanta Woodturner's Guild. Occasionally I will bring a "show and Tell" which always teaches me something and I have a lot to learn. I love turning hollow forms after a great course with Trent Bosch. I hope to retire not long from now so I more turning time and can get better. The photo is of my half of our 2 car garage, showing the lathes. Hope to learn a lot from all of you.

Welcome Michael. Clearly you are a person of good judgement and with your priorities right. A garage is for tools. Lots of tools. And some sawdust as Bill said. :)

Seriously, welcome and although you'll probably not learn a lot from me, the rest of the guys that already said hello are a wealth of information. Yes, I'm looking at you Al, Bill, and Gerald.
