I turned maybe 3 dozen bowls a few years ago and have enjoyed turning pens, even ones I have photo cast. Been so busy on other things I haven't turned for a while and want to get back into it. Been retired for couple years now and have plenty to keep me busy but looking forward to start turning again.

Welcome Mike!

Have you joined one or more of the Chicagoland area woodturning clubs? I belong to two of the three. I find them to be a great value for the minimal investment. Turn on Chicago, a biennial regional symposium is the end of July this year. Either of these would be good mechanisms to get you turning again.

Welcome again and safe turning!
