Motor Start Switch for Rockwell 46-525

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement motor starter switch for my lathe? The original switch in the lathe is a Furnas Electric 12BA21T which seems to be obsolete. I have found one source which quoted me over $360.00 for it. This switch has a red STOP button and a Green Start button with each button taking up approximately one-half of the switch plate.

Is there a replacement part which would fit in the same hole? I see other equipment with the same kind of part but don't know another part number.

Magnetic? Commercial and educational places had 'em. If you need the magnetic for your insurance, you can still get one. I had a regular old motor-rated toggle, though you certainly could buy one of the guarded on, slap off boxes sold by Woodworkers' Supply or the like.

Furnas Electric Controls merged with the German company Siemens and became Siemens-Furnas (now is just Siemens). You could do a cross-reference search of Siemens part numbers using GlobalSpec, the engineering search engine.

If the switch is a magnetic starter, it is not necessary to replace it with the same kind -- magnetic starter and magnetic hold switches are required to meet safety requirements in some manufacturing applications.
