Recently I placed an order for some wood and decided to add in domestic seconds and exotic seconds (a pound of each). I cut two of the pieces into 3” x 3” squares and glued them together. I then rough cut them round in the bandsaw. I then mounted the piece to my Joyner Off Center jig and to make it round and sand the back and flipped it around and turned the front down a little bit thinner and made four different off center cuts going all the way to the bottom layer of wood. Sanded the edge even a little bit more to make a ring around the outside. And now I have two tone pendants and a pair of earrings. I am glad I ordered a second medium button for the Joyner Jig so I could make the earrings the same by removing but keeping them mounted between each of the cuts.
