I made this spin top that spins on top of a pedestal and catches on a rim instead of falling off when it stops spinning. I believe there is a name for this type of top, but I'm not having any luck coming up with it. Any help?
I only know this because I coincidentally saw a video of one very recently. It’s called a Trumkreisel, which roughly translates to a top on a pedestal.
