I have difficulty sometimes with navigating the AAW web site. Some things are obvious such as the forum or finding logo items, but sometimes other things seems to be very difficult for me to locate. As an example, I wanted to see the Chapter Collaborative Challenge entries for this year. I finally located the pictures after doing some random searching after giving up on searching areas that seemed to be logical. However, I still have not found information on which entry won the Best of Show or Technical Challenge or whatever other awards may have been made. Maybe there were not any awards this year -- but I couldn't tell from what I have been able to find. From personal experience, I know how much work maintaining a web site can be, so I my suggestion would just be heaping more work on already overloaded volunteers, but I feel that making navigation reasonably intuitive is one of the most important parts of a good web site.

Exhibitions, chapter challenges, and symposium pics are all listed near the top of the page on the gallery page

For news type items, there is not a lot of permanency. Past news can be found in the news archive page

And in the next 2 months Ed Davidson will be implementing the search feature. When I redesigned the menu system 2 years ago, we tried to organize the content into the most obvious structure. (Mike Nelson helped a lot with the design).
