Hi everyone,

Greetings from Victoria, BC, Canada. I'm new to the forum but have been woodworking since I was very young. I started turning about 15 years ago for market projects mostly being rolling pins. I've just procured a used American Beauty so starting down the path of larger projects of bowls and vessels. I'm very fortunate to have a large shop but I'm still working and haven't had much time in it for the past 10 years but getting more now. I'm looking forward to being part of your community.

Welcome, thank you for sharing your history and current state. As I am sure you have figured out, it's best when you both share and learn. Safe turning!

Welcome Neil! Nice looking shop. I’m hoping you get some more time to use it—look forward to seeing some of your work.

Welcome! I'm jealous. My entire shop is 8' x 10'.

Welcome to the forum Neil. I am sure you will find a ton of answers for anything that you need to know going forward. Nice shop by the way. From the other side of Canada.
