Hi guys I am an Australian from the Gold Coast and have been turning for almost 20 years but involved since helping my father turn sail boat masts in the back yard since I was 5. I have been casting timbers with resins for around 15 years and stabilising for 10 years.

I was a moderator on the Australian Woodworking Forums for 10 years before retiring and since been one of the Admin for the Facebook Woodturners of Australia Group. I am a retried structural engineer now travelling around Australia doing demonstration in woodturning, casting/stabilisation and milling.

I am best known for my pens but my preference is for larger turnings and more recently more artistic works involving castings resins to make what otherwise would be firewood into turning blanks.

Cheers
Neil
