New Nichols Woodturning lathe Swing above the top ways is 26” Swing above the lower ways for 39". Larger swing possible when both top & bottom ways are removed. The bottom way is 25” long and top way is 25” long. When overlapped and bolted together, the length of the ways is 41 ½ “ The distance between centers is 32 ½” when the tail stock is mounted flush with the end of the top way. The distance between centers is 34 ½ “ when 2” of the foot of the tail stock overhangs the top way. New Leeson 1.5 HP, 1750 RPM 180VDC motor Speed Control and Voltage converter by Denver Ulery.
