Hello all!! After a short break for turning to move into my new home, I have managed to finish a piece I was in the middle of. Here it is!

It is about 7" tall X 7" diameter at the widest point. Made from (left to right) Peruvian Walnut, Brazilian Cherry, Brazilian Vermelha, and African Padauk. It contains 161 seperate pieces and is finished with 3 coats of poly.

Please let me know what you think!

Very pretty piece. Looks like 10 rings of 12 segments. Must be 10 of 16 to equal 161 (thin one-piece base or plug in the bottom ring?). Regardless of the "count", it's a beautiful piece with a very nice color blend.

You are correct 10 rings, 16 segments, 1 base plug.

Thanks for the comments all!
