Second Line of Defense

So true! We've got ineffective Do Not Call lists and laws out the wazoo, but where's the avenue to report offenders (especially robo callers and vishers) and see some enforcement!!! (But that's a topic for another forum.)

Caller ID + answering machine.

When we don't know'em . . . to the machine they go after 4 rings then the "delete" key once or twice a week; blocked ID's don't even get connected.:p

DoNotCall is a waste of time; tried, no effect.

choice woods

So I just wanted to clear the air about Choice Woods. If anyone else gets bored and can't think of any woodturning subjects to talk about I give you permission to talk about us. Just every once in a while say something nice.

See ya and have a great day,
Clay Johnson[/QUOTE]

Clay-Don't know why you have me on the mailing list, but I look forward to your emails for my laugh of the day. I don't "buy" wood" but just maybe!!!!!!!,????
I get other unsolicited emails, and it "p----ses me off. but I can unsubscribe-but does that get you "deeper in debt" as I think someone eluded to ?. I have to take the time to delete all the crap I get and then my email server may get me overloaded. I try to delete all stuff when I am at 16-18% of my limit. Pain in the a-- going thru that stuff, I 'd rather be turning or working, but I will "keep you", Gretch
